Drama: Our sister Mambo

Depois da catástrofe do último filme japonês, resolvi tentar um filme diferente.

Um filme de Singapura, que me fez adorar o estilo da Mambo, mas que o filme em si não traz muita ação, embora tenha uns reflexivos trechos interessantes da vida.

Não é nada assim que valha a pena parar para assistir, mas se não tiver mais nada pra fazer na vida, poder dar uma espiada neste filme.

Matchmaking is a difficult thing to pull off, especially for your own sisters. Mambo (Michelle Chong) is the second of four daughters of the proud Mr. Wong (Moses Lim), a theater operations manager, and Mrs. Wong (Audrey Luo), an overly competitive property agent. Although she herself is single, Mambo is determined to find suitable mates for her older sister, Grace (Ethel Yap), and younger sisters, Rose (Oon Shu An) and June (Joey Leong). But when Mambo’s good intentions produce disastrous results, can her best friend, Siti (Siti Khalijah), help her set things right? “Our Sister Mambo” is a 2015 Singaporean film directed by Ho Wi Ding in celebration of Cathay Organization’s 80th anniversary. It is inspired by the classic 1957 Hong Kong film “Our Sister Hedy.”
